The Protagonist is a leading character, a hero, a heroine.

The Protagonist stands out from the crowd as the most prominent figure.

The Protagonist breaks records to set new ones.

In a special collaboration, London-based Editors Ram Shergill and Daen Palma Huse have paired with the Wallace Collection and the Royal Shakespeare Company to produce painterly imagery which is being presented at the talk “Fashion and Power” on 9th July 2019 at the Wallace Collection in London.

The Wallace Collection is a museum of fashion as well as art. The metal clothing displayed in the galleries of arms and armour reveals more than we might expect about the present as well as the past. Fashion embodies the spirit of an age, and haute couture armour represents an awe-inspiring statement of power and strength, which still resonates. Where might we find the design themes of armour in our world? What does this tell us about contemporary taste? How do we all wear armour now, and why? For this panel discussion Curator of Arms and Armour, Tobias Capwell will be joined by fashion historian Amber Butchart and fashion photographer Ram Shergill
